Vedanta-Dhvani

Heed the Voice of Vedanta

Vedanta is a Sanskrit term made of two words Veda + Anta. Veda means Knowledge and Anta means end. Vedanta means the culmination of knowledge. It is the ancient Indian philosophy expounding the knowledge of life & living. It is a science dealing with the development of the individual.

Despite the growing emphasis on physical fitness and wellness, mental and intellectual well-being often remain overlooked. As a result, individuals struggle to cope with mental stress when confronted with life's challenges. Prioritizing careers and daily responsibilities, many push through emotional turmoil, leading to burnout, strained relationships, irritability, and other detrimental consequences. Vedanta addresses the underlying causes of stress besides the host of other challenges, offering an exposition of the root issues. By applying its principles, one can acquire the tools to navigate life's difficulties with clarity and equanimity, ultimately living a peaceful and more fulfilling life. Through such an existence, striving for excellence constantly, one reaches the pinnacle of Spiritual Goals - Self Realisation.

Dhvani in Sanskrit means Resonance. Vedanta-Dhvani is the voice of the Ancient Indian philosophy that reaches you.

Our Inspiration

A. Parthasarathy is the pre-eminent philosopher and author. Swamiji, as he is popularly known, has a multi-disciplined academic base with postgraduation from London University. Renouncing a lucrative shipping business early in life he has dedicated himself to full time study, research and propagation of Vedanta, the ancient philosophy of India.

Over seventy years of study and research Swamiji authored twelve books presenting the ancient philosophy of life and living in contemporary thought and language. With a clear and scientific approach, the books enable one to easily grasp the vital foundational knowledge of the human personality. They then gradually lead one via a carefully structured course of study to the acme of spiritual thought expounded in the ancient Vedic texts.

The Vedanta Treatise: The Eternities, Swamiji's magnum opus, is currently in its 18th edition. Amongst Swamiji's publications are commentaries on scriptural texts, including the Bhagavad Gita and select Upanishads.
